Milind Mulick
Milind's artistic ability became apparent rather early. He has been drawing since the age of 5 and started watercolor landscapes at 13. He received the government's National Talent Scholarship to study art but decided to major in engineering rather than art. After graduation, he returned to his artistic inclinations and began doing architectural illustrations, other commercial/design work. Now, he paints most of the time and spends less time teaching and in commercial work. He gives watercolor demos in government art colleges in Maharashtra and runs watercolor courses at the Art2day gallery. He has participated in many group shows throughout India and has had 20 one-man shows in Mumbai & Pune. His paintings are in the collection of many individuals and some corporate houses in India, USA, Europe, Japan & Singapore. He has been painting for more than 22 years has, hopefully, created a place for himself in contemporary Indian art.
