Born in a tiny village in Pune, Maharashtra, Dinkar's connection with Earth was a continuous inspiration. Having studied in Abhinav Kala Vidyalaya, his admiration for JMW Turner touched a chord in him. He followed Turner's footsteps and developed his own style and began working in Impasto. The play of light and shade in nature appealed to him and reflects in his unique artistic process. He has received awards from Prafulla art foundation contest "1st place in Pune region" (2016), Bombay art society, Art society of India, and many more. He has exhibited his works in solo shows in cities like Pune & Mumbai. His works are also parts of collections with individuals and firms from India, Singapore, USA, CAnada,. His group shows have been a success and has also contributed to charity shows and auctions, demonstrations, online exhibits and art fairs previously.
